I talked to Mo a while ago. He said they are having trouble fnding people who are willing or able to invest the time in being moderators. I was complaining about the trash too. I wish they would get rid of it. Uh that's odd what's wrong with you and me volunteering? you have your own page and I'm on here at least once a day. I thought that proboards was the main moderator and that you set up settings. I'll volunteer to Mod if given permission. So again, thats a bit of an odd statement. I actualy did volunteer to do it just because I wanted to get rid of all of the stupid spam. I hate spammers! They said that MUFON will only allow high ranking officers to be mods tho. That's probably why they are having a hard time finding people to do it. All of the high-ranking MUFON people who used to be moderators quit when they shut down the old forum. Apparently none of the people they have now are interested in the forum. That's too bad. It's making MUFON look bad with all of the stupid spam garbage on here. They should present a better public image than that.

I think it ends up hurting the organization more than it helps.

I'm new to the forums and a new MUFON Field Investigator in eastern PA. Still waiting for my first investigation, but it doesn't look like there are many FI in the area. I've been investigating paranormal/ghosts as part of a group in Allentown and we're expanding our horizons to UFO investigation. Not to knock anyone, but MUFON is much more organized than the ghosthunter types. By profession, I'm a chemist so I bring the scientific method to investigations and look forward to furthering my studies of UFO/extraterrestrial subjects. Rodney I know that you can't make the UFO's come to you, Rodney. You could target certain areas like nuclear power plants where there are a higher percentage of sightings. Unfortunately, TMI and Peach Bottom are quite a haul for you. There could be other areas of interest (for UFO's) in Northern PA, so maybe you can find a hot spot somewhere close to home.

Just join this site this evening.I am from the Southeastern part of Virginia. Looks like this site has alot of great topics. I will be sharing some of my sightings soon. I reported them VIA e-mail to MUFON In the past. Only thing I have seen recently is a large number of Plane traffic in Southeastern Skies of Virginia. Was very strange to see over 30 planes within a 15 minute time frame going South and North. Again happy to be a member.

New to the MUFON forum. I live in Tennessee near Watts Bar Lake, I am a veteran and was in the U.S. Marines for 7 years. I hunt, fish and prospect for gold. I have seen and managed to get one picture of a UFO and reported it about a year ago to MUFON. It was cloaked by a black cloud while watching it and the camera actually captured a picture of the ship inside the cloud. It is something that I will never forget and always wonder what it was doing here and why us?

Hello from MUFON LA chapter. I am excited to be here after years of being afraid to let everyone know my interest in UFOs. I just ordered my Investigator's Manual and I am ready to dive in.
I lived in New Mexico for a number of years but did not poke around in Dulce (doh!)
I hope to make acquaintance with you and build a support unit for hopeful investigators as myself.
Cheers
