first of all, I am by no means a skeptic, but I've never been one to search the skies for anything out of the ordinary... so when I saw a UFO Saturday night, it really caught my attention. I was driving down I 20/59 in Alabama, coming from Birmingham around 9:30 pm. I saw an extremely bright light I'm the sky ahead of me, but at first I assumed it was a planet. About 10 minutes later, I got close enough to realize it was way too large, bright, and close to be a planet. I curiously kept my eye on the light as I continue driving south and closer to the object. It was around 9:50 that I saw the one large light turn into several flashing sequental lights. By this time, the object, having not moved, was more towards to the right instead of straight ahead of me (due toy driving direction), but I got close enough to it to notice the lights were moving in a triangular fashion around the base of it. It wasn't too many minutes afterwards that I lost sight of it as it finally began moving in what appeared to be an odd fashion, had it been a helicopter or plane. I can't imagine I'm the only person that saw it. it was very eye catching and considerably close by. I have been searching for a place to share my story to see if there's anyone else that may be in my position. My husband doesn't seem interested. I'm sure he would be had he seen how amazing this was.

If you were traveling north just outside of Birmingham on I-59/20, the international airport encompasses a huge area near there.
Might have been an aircraft flying in a landing pattern
