Here's a case I can not find much info on searching the web. This case appears in the book The UFO Encylcopedia by Margaret Sachs that came out in 1980. - 1975. Carlisle, New York

Farmer Leonard Tillapaugh was almost killed when a small flying object struck his tractor. Analysis of object conducted at Northwest University and Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory in New Mexico. Absence of nickle ruled out meteoric origin, chemical composition consistent with known compositions of common cast iron, establishing the fragment as a manufactured object. However, it was such poor grade that the cost of producing such a substance would have been greater than its value. The Los Alamos scientist were unable to identify its origin.
