I have a question, and I hope someone can tell me or explain something to me. I have read that Aliens are peaceful and are plant eaters. How come the cattle (animal mutilations)?

There are theories abound, but the cattle mutilations have been said to be necessary for medicines, food (extracted proteins), and experiments.
I doubt that they are interested in steak and beef stew. If they do eat I would imagine that it would be different then consuming bulk materials and some say that they extract protein through transdermal abosrption if they eat at all.
Who really knows for sure?

they don't eat cows because most of the edible parts are left behind the blood is drained and its reproductive parts are sometimes taken

I have a theory about the grey's. I think they are manufactured by their world, where they come from. Think about it. If you wanted to explore the universe would you send out 100's of your top research scientists and space ships when you can create a life form that will beckon to your call, plus you need smaller ships and maybe less life support systems. As far as the cows I have no idea. Maybe something totally different and the mutilations are to throw us off track. Maybe they are using the cows as incubators and they are coming back for whatever. Why would they want to leave the mutilated cow. Why not vaporize it when they are done and then it is just another missing cow.
