need to talk about what i've seen

I'm writing today because I have a story to tell and no one to tell it to. If I bring up the subject of UFO's my friends dismiss it immediately and my boyfriend laughs... so I’m telling it to you all now. Maybe this is a net work of people like me that you could help me find.

Anyway, here's my story:
I grew up in small town USA. I saw my first UFO when I was 7 or 8 with my mother flying above our house one night. I'm not saying it was alien, just a light silently moving over head bigger than a plane should be. Plus we lived in the middle of nowhere and the only planes I ever saw were 35,000 feet going somewhere bigger. I've always believed flying saucers existed, but never saw anything again until 4 1/2years ago when I moved to Thailand. I live in Bangkok now and I’ve seen 6 in the last 4 years.

1. Lying by the pool on a sunny day, I open my closed eyes to see how big the cloud is that just covered the sun... except... no cloud. there's a shadow on the ground and me and the pool but to look up I see nothing obstructing the sun. It stayed that way for 5 minutes until what I see as nothing moves away from the sun and the rays hit me again. Now you might say that it was a high level thin cloud, but this was a thick obstruction, it was dark for a few minutes.

2 & 3. Same thing different place. Was staring up at the stars very late, about 3 am. One night I couldn't sleep and the other we were at a beach party with friends (no drugs I swear). I’m looking at a very bright star, to bright almost, but possible and it suddenly goes out. It looked like it sped away, like a ship in star wars going to warp drive.

4. I was standing on my balcony in down town Bangkok. If you've never been here it's a busy district like any in NYC..; .not like it looks in the hanger over 2. Above me I see a plane. I look because it's not the usuall plane route, usually they go to the east of the city. I’m watching the usual plane, one red light beside one white light. There’s no noise, but the city is loud, not so unusual. As I’m looking the lights that were one they split. The white light stays over head and the red one zooms off into the clouds.

5. Again… standing on my balcony, this time evening still good light out side. I should mention that I had spent the day meditating and was particularly relaxed. I was having a cup of tea looking out over the city when coming from the ground (in the middle of the city) was a blue metallic triangle shaped craft. This one was really weird, in broad day light. Anyone could have seen it. And where was it taking off from, in the middle of the city?

6. This one I’m not totally sure about. It was just a strange happening. My boyfriend and I were volunteering at an orphanage on the Thai Burmese border only 2 months ago. We were there for about a month. Our cottage overlooked a beautiful lake and across the lake were mountains. The sun came up over the mountains into our room each morning, it was really lovely. About two weeks into our trip I awoke to the sun blazing into our room. My first thought was that I was still so tired, it can’t be morning yet. It was so bright I literally blocked it with my hand and groaned. I felt under my pillow where I keep an eye mask I use when I want to sleep a little later. I put the mask on. The next thing I remember I woke up and it was night. I was very disorientated; it should be 10 am… why is it night. Did I sleep through the whole day.. Impossible. I looked at my phone and it was 4am. I was dizzy, confused. My boyfriend was sound asleep next to me. I might have chalked the whole thing up to a weird dream except that my eye mask was on the pillow still wrapped into my hair. I was still disoriented and dizzy when I woke in the morning. I had problems with my vision for several hours. I have no memory of anything happening, none at all.

Then I should tell you that there’s something in my hand. It’s a small raised dot In the middle of my left palm. Maybe 2 or 3 mm circumference. It’s been there since I was a child. Actually the explanation of how it got there is one of my first memories. I clearly remember my mother, father, and grandfather telling me the story of how I got a rose thorn stuck in me and wouldn’t let anyone remove it. My grandfather being there puts it at age 4 or younger. Now I have no other such detailed memories from that time period. I remember some scenes and impressions but nothing so distinct as this conversation. It’s actually one of my only memories of my grandfather at all. It’s an odd memory due to it’s detail, it’s out of place. And why would an old splinter still be visible in color and to sight and touch. Other scars healed up, actually I have skin that almost never scars. I just find it odd.

Anyhoo… perhaps I’m crazy, but I don’t think so. If there’s anyone that might want to hear more about any of this please let me know. and should you have any answers or information please let me know.

Well, I do not have any answers but I understand how you feel. I have only had one sighting in my life and it was over twenty years ago. But, it was a life changing experience. My husband does not think I am crazy because he knows I am not. I am not a fanatic but still, to this day, I would give anything to know what I saw years ago. In my circle of friends, no one believes in the possibility of life on other planets. My husband is just indifferent and does not believe nor disbelieve. I am happy to have this forum and read other peoples' experiences, and I hope you can find comfort in that as well. Who knows, maybe someone will have answers for you. Just know you are not alone! I do have one question. What color is the dot you mentioned? Feel free to message me on here anytime...

I also have no answers, but can agree with you that it's nice to have folks to talk to about those things. Is there a reason why you haven't tried to remove the "thorn" since you've gotten older?

hi there, thanks for your kind responses, it does make me feel less alone. The spot in my hand is brown, but the color has faded some in the last 30 years. I can't tell you why but i feel strongly that i never want it removed. it could of course be nothing, in my logic i know that. But i have a deep feeling that it belongs with me. and though i'm curious, i don't want it taken out of me. i know this sounds crazy, maybe it's just a link to my childhood and family. But i feel attached to it.

I guess that this gets to what I had in mind when I was talking about Bigfoot, Through the wormhole and so forth on another thread. When you think about how we perceive our world, it comes down to our brains being able to decode the electrical impulses from our various sensors. All our brains have to go on are those electrical impulses, as far as we know. What if there are other senses that we are not so well tuned to detect and use for information, sort of like a shark's ability to "see" electrical fields, or the amazing things dogs can do with their sense of smell, or so many creatures use their hearing in ways that we can't quite imagine. You mentioned this blue craft being right there in the open where anyone could have seen it. I saw something similar and was surprised that nobody else seemed to have noticed. There was no family around when I saw mine. Nobody that I could tap on the shoulder and say, "hey! Look at that!", but I saw no indication in the media or heard of no community uproar over such an odd occurrence. But there it was, hanging in the sky in broad daylight for everyone to see. I've read of so many other people's accounts where creatures communicate with some sort of telepathy and wonder if maybe there is more to it than just the transfer of thoughts by this unusual path.

Obviously, I'm just grasping at straws with that and not something that I can prove or disprove, but who says there isn't more to our world than we can normally perceive?

You're very observant. I'd hazard a guess you're more observant than most. That sort of thing you'd be surprised how few people point out.

Wouldn't worry about bumps - think that sort of things normal, but that's just personal perspective. Could be an irritant or reaction. I had an occasion half my left arm appeared to be covered in small raised shiny light scales. Itchy as hell. I think it's just a skin reaction - no biggie. No scales showing now heheh.

HI!. well i have read you story i can not say that i have seen such things as your self, however what i have seen i need to talk about. I was sitting outside( actually at this country music concert for a date. Now im not a fan of country at all so i spent most of the night looking up at the sky. I have always believed in other beings it seems almost asinine not too. Any who i wasa looking up and i see this bright light, brighter than a star should be. I knew that jupiter should be out so i figured that was it.. then just like that it went out. about the artist later i went to the restroom where i took some time to study the sky just incase anything else was going on.. and thats when i saw it.. Two bright lights in the sky sling shotting around eachother it was brilliant! almost like they were playing or somthing. I stood there for a good 5 min watching this a guy even asked me what i was looking at and i pointed and we both stood there jaw dropped.. i dont know what i saw but i have to say aloud! its impossible to say this to anyone else who hasnt had somthing like this happen to( THnak god for this site!) anyway if anyone can maybe give me some insight or atleast if anyone else has seen somthing like this it would be fantastic to know

I used to frequent this site a couple of years ago, but later it was being transformed and then they didn't have this forum which I used to miss a lot. I am so glad to see this site ( something today said I should try to find this 'mufon' site again and I googled it and found the forum. Really glad to meet you all. I love reading about people's experiences. I have not had any experiences I can relate here, but my parents did openly mention ( very matter-of -factly) a few times, that when I was a two /three year old, they saw flying saucers over our house (described them as dark grey, circular discs) and didn't think anything of them. I love watching the skies for something unusual, but I don't know how I might react if I did. I have had a couple of dreams of being in a space ship and coming to earth( zooming through the atmosphere) and one dream of an orange disc chasing me in a field. I started moaning with fear in my dream and my children ( who were watching t/V next to my bed in my room) shook me and woke me up and asked why I was moaning so loudly and if I had had a nightmare . I told them I did, but didn't tell them about it. I want to thank the webmasters for this site and tell them I am very happy to see it back again. Thank you and god bless you all.

HI travi32, you are not alone. I also had such experiences and it happened to me twice. I thought before they were space probes or satellites or meteors. But the second experience was out of the ordinary. This dot of light, just like the size of white dots of lights behind where mufon's wallpaper is, was orbiting in a forward trajectory when all of a sudden as it was about to approach the next white dot, it worked its way out not "to bump" it by swerving at an angle around 135 degrees upward and settled back to its normal trajcetory plunging downward at 90 degrees angle and disappeared down to the horizon covered by trees.
With regards to two bright lights, our star systems are mostly dualpaired. They are binary and most of them wobble just like how you describe them. But I'm not sure if this binary wobbling can be seen by the naked eye.

charlottebb5, what I usually do when I encounter extraordinary phenomena just like what you had here is to write them in a numbered list. Then with this list as a basis, you recall again what you had experience and use this list for comparison. You will be suprised sometimes that what you saw(seeing) and what you think you saw(thinking) dont match; or sometimes some events are missing that you begin to think that what you have experienced is illogical or doesn't make sense and other times they are simply tricks of ones mind.

@ charlettebb.........Hi there, I'm another one of the new folks here and am very glad to have this forum to reach out to people with similar interests and beliefs as well as experiences.

I have seen strange lights in the sky as well, as was witnessed by another person and have had an extremely bizarre and actually quite disturbing experience in my house here a couple of years ago. According to a 'questionaire' I looked at - believe it was a "Roper" questionaire? - (does that name sound familiar?), I matched at about an 85% likelihood that had been abducted, or was being abducted, or had some sort of abduction scenario going on in my life. In any event, it was probably the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me (completely sober and sane at the time too).

I am surrounded by people who are of the arrogant opinion that we humans are the only forms of life in the Universe. To tell them otherwise is like trying to convince an adult that the Tooth Fairy is real. Personally, I believe peoples' disbelief that aliens exist, have visited Earth and continue to visit is actually very intentional. Meaning that they willfully refuse to acknowledge the reality. In fact, people will deny the EXISTENCE of just a UFO, never mind if it is of ET origin or not, to the point of foaming at the mouth........yet, they completely fail to understand that by definition, that weird disc/log/light/etc etc etc IS in fact a UFO, whether it is of ET origin or not. If it's there, and is UNIDENTIFIABLE, it is therefore a UFO.

Anyway, my opinion is that this vehement disbelief is based exclusively on fear. Fear to succumb to the fact that something beyond their comprehension and their perceptions of normal/reality is going on. I blame Hollywood for instilling that fear in people.

Anyway, to the point of this blurb: that little bump in the palm of your hand has piqued my interest. Any chance you'd be willing to take a picture of it and post it, or even send to me privately? I'd love to see it. The thing that intrigues me the most is your attachment to it and the length of time that it has been there. One would think that a "rose thorn" would have faded away into your body years ago through the bodies' normal processes. I've just never heard of anyone being so "attached" to a physical feature of their body before. Makes me curious! hehe

I agree with you there is nothing wrong seeing things or objects in the sky that are unfamiliar to us. That's why these objects are classified as unidentified flying stuff. We don't know some of these extraoridnary sightings in the sky yet.
BTW, I'm just curious why are you interested in that little bump on the palm. Is this connected with UFO? If so, can you please enlighten me about this. Thanks

Well, if you go back to the OP's first post, you will see how she described the reaction and explanation of said bump by her grandfather, etc. It could be that the way I read that post was different than everyone else and maybe I put too much into it.......not sure now. However, add to that explanation the fact that she has had that bump for a very long time (probably a couple of decades beyond what a simple 'rose thorn' organic foreign object would ever be expected to stay lodged in the flesh), AND her 'odd' or unexplainable attachment to it, as if it were part of her very being or reason for existing (I'm paraphrasing and guessing there), and you end up with a quirky sort of situation that in my mind is worthy of some sort of examination.

Am I the only one who read all that into her original post?

Anyway, it has been my experience with either myself or people I know personally, that when one acquires an undesirable "traveller" on or in our skin, we tend to want to remove it. For her to feel so strongly about keeping whatever it is exactly as it is, for so long, kind of raises my eyebrows a tad.

So, to get to what I believe was the point of your question: Yes, I do think there is a CHANCE it may be of ET origin. A say chance very loosely because it is obvious that I have never met her before in my life and don't know her, her family or her situation from a hole in the ground. I am only going by how I interpreted her memo.

I guess what I'm saying is that it wouldn't surprise me one bit to find out that there was an implant or something in there from when she was a kid. However, maybe if there was an organic object in there hearty-enough to hang around for a while, her skin actually "changed" to accommodate it, or something.........I really have no idea lol

My father has a tiny piece of pencil lead under his left eye. He got this when his seatmate poked him into the eye when he was 7 years old. Until to this day, it is still embedded on the same spot. My father is 80 years old now.
Btw, have you encountered any ufo stories where someone was implanted with foreign objects? If so, can you provide a link? thanks

Lead is metal. Rose thorns are totally organic and should 'go away' after a length of time. I've had stuff in my skin too, some of it non-organic, and over time they were 'pushed' out by my body. Had they been deeper, then I would suspect they would remain there, much like your fathers.

Am I wrong? Please tell me if I am, but be able to prove it to me haha
