We would like to see a "Field Investigator" section with information on techniques, equipment reviews, on line resources, and examples of good investigation reports. The manual is a good starting point but more details are needed.

Great suggestion. We hope to full fill part of that idea into the STAR Team page where we will have a place to publish full formal reports released to the public.
I think the Investigators Corning would be a great ideas. We can implement ideas from our Public Education Director and other to formulate blog entries and video reviews of equipment, field techniques and resources. Consider it done my friend.

May I suggest you have a listing in the form of MOST RECENT SIGHTINGS this to me seems very important

good suggestion gormondy
Currently we do have this function on the main sight under the pop up menu at the top of the site call the Last 20 Reports. We plan to have this more visible and easier to find on the new sight because it always seems to be the most popular.
thanks again. Keep the suggestions coming. We need everyone's input because we are making this site for you.

Greetings,
I would like to see a case resolution area added for the general public and non-members to access. This could be a link function from the UFO Database available as users search through older cases.
Maybe this will be part of the new STAR team section. However, it shouldn't be restricted to "members only" or just to cases released to the public. Openness of information is what Disclosure is all about and MUFON should support this concept fully.
This would help separate the hoaxes and misidentifications from the true anomalies and unexplainable phenomenon.
Another frustrating thing is trying to view video evidence. I'm not sure if it's feasible, but converting the files to a consistent format would make it much easier to access them. Often times they take a long time to download, then won't play in Quicktime or MediaPlayer.
Thanks for reading and best of success with the new website.

I agree with that totally. We do need more openness of information and a better relationship with the public. Now let's see if MUFON can follow through with it.

I like the idea of a mufon social network. I used to be on Facebook, but it was too big, confusing, and impersonal. I believe that mufon's wouldn't.

Well, apparently we may never know, as long as it is taking them to get their website active again.

Maybe the MUFON BoD and the Committee to Reform MFON killed each other at the symposium. I haven't heard a word from either of them.

Whew, I thought it was just me. Last week ago, I emailed the mufon State Director for Colorado, Doug Wilson, in regards to one of his investigators who is a publicized military witness about his Cold War era ufo story. I have a --very similar-- Cold War era ufo story, and I asked Mr. Wilson if the guy (and or him) would welcome email about it. Haven't heard a thing. Maybe they all got abducted!

Something weird is going on. Maybe one of the MUFON investigators can investigate and find out where everybody went.
