Should Governor Jim Gilmore be protecting his fellow Virginians from space aliens? Larry Bryant thinks so.
He's suing Gilmore, claiming the governor isn't doing enough to repel extraterrestrials infiltrating the Commonwealth.
At the very least, Bryant wants Gilmore to convene a grand jury to investigate alleged cases of alien abductions. Bryant also wants a SWAT team of the Virginia National Guard to be ready to capture or repel alien invaders.
Bryant couldn't find a lawyer to handle his suit, so he's representing himself in court.
A spokesman for the state attorney general says the suit will be handled by their "X-Files" department.
