www.wltx.com/story/local/2012/10/01/1646780/Columbia, SC (WLTX) **UPDATED 3:00PM** The earlier story, below, about suspected UFO sightings on Google Maps' Street View cameras got a Military Analyst talking, and they reached out to News 19 to provide one possible explanation of just what's going on in those images: "The Google Car was in Sumter last week, and I happened to see it. What everyone is seeing is a reflection of the round Google camera that is mounted on top of the car." **Original Post** LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) -- People all over the country have started to notice images of unidentified objects showing up on Google Maps. The latest unexplained photo to get attention is right here in the Upstate. Recently, users of Google Maps' Street View feature pointed out UFO-like shapes above Jacksonville, TX and Acoma Pueblo, NM. Now, a Laurens County man tells 7 On Your Side the same figure appears over Highway 221 South in Waterloo. WSPA is working on the story today and looking into what might be causing the extraterrestrial looking objects on the Internet. Check back later as we find out more. In the meantime, leave a comment and let us know what you think of the images. Is it a flying saucer, camera lens flare, or something else?
