I was living in pikeville Kentucky in 1993,when 4 members of my family and I saw a HUGE UFO.
My boyfriend and I had just gotten back from the store, pulled into my driveway, parked his truck and he got out first and walked over to my side, opened my door,took out some bags started walking through the yard,took about 5 steps away from me in front of the truck when for reason he just looked up and saw a Huge UFO flying ever so slow flying over a maple tree in the yard,just bearly clearing the top of the tree,the leaves on the tree moved slightly,I looked up and at him just in time to see him drop both bags of grocery's he was carrying I noticed he was looking up so I looked up also to see what he was fixated on, I saw a HUGE UFO.I jumped out of the truck ran to his side,we stared at this object in awe,could not take our eyes off it.The object flew right over our heads so low it was unnerving,so very slow hard to tell it was even moving at all.When we did gain our composure he ran into the house yelling at my son and daughter and her boyfriend to hurry outside to see what we were looking at,I stayed outside never taking my eyes off the object for even a second,I was simply breathless at the sight I was witnessing above me.By the time they came out I had walked about 10 steps to the front of my house where the sidewalk and steps were.We all 5 looked at this UFO for about 10 good minutes before it finally went slowly out of sight,I wanted to get in my car and follow it but my boyfriend talked me out of it,I sure wish now I had not listened to his and followed it,I mean just how many times in life does one get a chance like that? But I do have to admit at the time it scared the hell out of all of us, earie it was.The object was close enough that I could have thrown a rock at it and hit it easily with no effort at all.Now onto what the shape of the object was-the object was almost as big as a football field, just above our heads,every detail was so clear to make out.It was still daylight outside and the sky was clear as a crystal,no clouds at all,about 1 hour before dark.It made absolutely no noise at all (silent). It was shaped eight sided on the outside puremimater, and under the belly in the center was the shape of a triangle the rest kind of round,it was very tall in height,we could see many windows in it around the outside puremimater were it was eight sided,the windows were long not wide,we could see inside the windows enough to see some dark movement of what appeared to be about 5 figures moving past the windows,yes it was that close to us,the color of the object was dark silvery.The only lights we saw were like ressessed lights on the inside through the windows.which made it easy to see things moving past the windows.Heard about UFOS all my life but until we saw one with our own eyes they were hard to believe.Not anything ourgovernment has of any one else here on earth I can assure you.HUGH it was,and scary as hell to be that close to it.It was much to close to the ground to make out what the top was shaped like.We call it a mother ship because of the huge size of it.This took place in the summer of July 1993,in Pikeville Kentucky.We never reported it for the fear that we would not be believed by anyone until now.We were told by some friends that lived farther up the road that they saw the same object as we did that evening.So there it is,hope you believe us,we did see it I assure you.Cell phones did not exist they or we sure would have so great pictures of it and video,just our luck.we were so blown away at the sight of the UFO we never thought about a camera until it was all over.Sorry it took so long to share this with everyone.More people believe nowadays so many people see them.
