What equipment should a UFO spotter have on hand?

Hi,
Not new to MUFON, but new to this website, having
stumbled upon it searching around. 

Is there a list anywhere that recommends what
a UFO spotter (not a field investigator) should have
on hand, particularly in his vehicle, in case a UFO
opportunity should arise?

A few examples (incomplete list) might include, 
Film camera with tripod
Inclinanometer
Compass
Dash camera
Note pad and paper
