Hi Just joined the MUFON forum. The recent reports of mysterious spheres in Africa once again got me looking at the whole UFO scenario. Given the implications of any admission of ET life, I am not surprised that our collective human consciousness is in terminal denial that there could even be a possibility of ET existence. Often times, ridicule, debunkers, and all types of personal attacks form the best form of defense that humankinds terrified psyche can offer. My question is this - how to change the entire public perception of the UFO phenomena especially when the propaganda war waged by the the manufactured and processed nightly news rages on? This article is a case in point: abcnews.go.com/Technology/ufo-faa-unable-identify-objects-flying-nyc/story?id=11880227Very comforting - maybe they are balloons.

Hi My question is this - how to change the entire public perception of the UFO phenomena especially when the propaganda war waged by the the manufactured and processed nightly news rages on? The answer to your question is so simple that I'm suprised someone needs to ask it. One single case, JUST ONE, that can be proven beyond any reasonable doubt that UFO's are from extraterrestial origin. Only one. GOD

You are correct. All we need is ONE case that can be proven to be of extraterrestial origin. We would need testable verifiable physical evidence. Eyewitness stories or photos just won't do. No such case has ever been found. Scientists, news media, and most of the public do not say that alien life is impossible. They just say that there is no scientifically verifiable evidence that alien life has visited earth.

As a matter of fact, most scientists tend to agree that life on earth most likely came from other places in the universe (panspermia). However this does not necessarily mean that it was brougth here intentionally. Having said that, I do have another question. How is it possible that after 60 years of UFO investigation by numerous investigation and research entities that lonely single case has not been found?

It's a catch 22 situation. Given the panic that even the possibility a crashed alien spaceship would cause, I would expect that governments have a strategy for dealing with these situations.
What happens when a secret military aircraft crashes? It is obvious, the area is sealed off, witnesses are sworn to silence and other measures are taken. The military may see it fit to 'take a life to save lives'
This is all for a military aircraft. One has only to ask if the crash or reports of a crash of an unidentified aircraft that undoubtedly would have been tracked by NORAD will not be investigated by the military.
Without even assuming that there are aliens visiting the Earth, we can see how difficult it is to obtain evidence of any flying or airborne device is, and if the the military considers it secret, how no one will be able to produce pieces of it in their You Tube videos which anyway can be claimed to be faked.
What do you think will happen to Government Bonds when people become unsure who is going to be in control? You can just imagine the panic that would result from a simple announcement that the United States has recovered an aircraft of unknown and possible alien origin?
The other point I am making is that the way UFO sightings are reported in the news at larger, and this can be proven beyond all doubt, is in an attitude of total ridicule - after all they have to. I remember one BBC program in which a camera was pointed at the sky in a mock attempt to catch an alien craft in flight.
