VINCENNES -- After working nightshift, at 2:50 AM, on January 4, 2011, my riding partner looked up and saw six evenly spaced lights make a sudden banking turn left, towards the SW. I got a full view of the bottom of a triangle-shaped object without the points. It was dark with single white lights on either side of the three blunt ends, and a circle of twelve lesser lights about half way towards the middle. The turn was impossibly tight, silent, and very fluid; too tight to be any kind of aircraft I have ever seen having spent ten years as a flying crew chief in the U.S. Air Force. I was able to see the object quite vividly, as it was silhouetted in front of a thin white cloud cover. It actually moved into the clouds, immediately after turning. I ran to the front door and called my friend to see it, when someone turned on a fairly powerful spotlight on the ground SSW of my position. It shined straight up at the object less than a half-mile from us. I made this crude drawing of the event. Thanks to MUFON CMS
