Hi All, I have read quite a few UFO books over the years and one of the most convincing is the Pennine UFO mystery by Jenny Randles. It is a very convincing set of events based around the town of Todmorden in the UK. If you can manage to get hold of a copy, then please do so. Great stuff by one of the best! John.

John, I enjoy a good book especially one on the mystery of UFO's. Real stories not fiction hold my interest. I will look for this book and read it so we can discuss the validity of the events
all the best, Bob

John, I am reading the Pennine UFO book. Interesting to note how much activity was going on during the 1970's in this region of England. Seemingly the aerial activity is curious, with lights, sounds, and shapes with consistency being seen regularly in close proximity to other sightings. The aerial activity seems to be designed to tease us "earthing". Less to explore, meet, or even exploit us in some meaningful way.
Talk with you latter.

Hi
I too found this book of great interest, as it seems to indicate that this area was a "window." By this I mean a small area where lots of UFOs are seen over time, as opposed to a "wave" where a large geographic area sees increased UFO report over a short period of time.
I had an opportunity to investigate a "window" area here in South Australia where I live. The small town of Clare, some 2 hours drive of Adelaide (our capital city) saw dozens of UFO reports over several years in the time frame 1968-1972. I spent hours in the area, watching the skies and interviewing local farmers. Then, all of a sudden the "window" closed and there were no reports of UFOs being made. To this day, there are no more UFO reports from Clare than any other area of the state.
