Dogs Sense UFO, Object Approaches Witnesses
8:45-9:10 p.m. Chauncey Uphoff and Mike Hill noticed their dogs barking furiously, saw a yellowish-orange diamond shaped noiseless luminous object to the SW about 1,000 ft altitude moving E, joined by a possible aircraft white light that went from SE to NW climbing with a "drumming sound", and when near the first object the latter blinked out. When the white light disappeared to the NW the diamond-shaped object reappeared as dim gray to the SW and headed straight towards them. Object now at close range was described as a ball diamond sideways, with "a tail" that was more like a fluid dripping off than a solid protuberance, object changing color to orange then brilliant bluewhite. Object made a swooping U-turn and headed SE towards Grayville. At close approach Uphoff reported that he couldn't cover the object with his hand and that the object "had depth to it." In Cash Landrum Case - 1980.

The object, intensely bright and a dull metallic silver, was shaped like a huge upright diamond, about the size of the Dayton water tower, with its top and bottom cut off so that they were flat rather than pointed. Small blue lights ringed the center, and periodically over the next few minutes flames shot out of the bottom, flaring outward, creating the effect of a large cone. Every time the fire dissipated, the UFO floated a few feet downwards toward the road. But when the flames blasted out again, the object rose about the same distance." (Clark, 175)

INDIAN POINT NUCLEAR POWER PLANT Peekskill, New York
June 24, 1984
The UFO, according to the witnesses was huge in size, diamond-shaped and approximately 450 feet in length. It was first white, then changed to blue to red to green to amber in color. Local police in Peekskill received numerous UFO sightings during the same evening. One of them, Sgt. Karl Hoffman said the UFO he observed included a "dozen white lights" in V-formation that slowly moved towards the power plant at Indian Point.
